Joining the Orchestra

From our concert programme page you will see that we perform a wide range of orchestral music, often requiring a large orchestra. There are always vacancies for good string players. The range of music means that vacancies can also arise in the wind, brass and percussion sections.

If you are interested in performing good music to a good standard, please contact the secretary Ros Wood with details of your instrument, standard of playing and orchestral background.

Rehearsals are held on Friday evenings in Honford Hall Community Centre in Handforth and start at 7.30pm. Honsford Hall is situated in South Acre Drive, which is off the old A34 not far from the centre of Handforth in the Wilmslow direction. Parking is available behind the Centre and in the public car park between Station Rd and South Acre Drive.
